Peanut Butter Cupcakes/Cake

  Information to know before baking:

* Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

* Makes  one 13x9x2 cakes, 1 bundt cake or two 8 inch pans or 24 cupcakes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup chopped peanuts
  • 1 making of chocolate frosting (see recipe or buy from store)

 

Directions:

1.Mix flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.

 2.Mix together sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl, beating until  fluffy.

3.Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg is added in.

4. Add half of the flour mixture then half of the milk.

5.Add 3/4 cup peanut butter and mix well into mixture.

6.Mix until blended; add what's left of the flour and milk and beat until smooth. Most likely, the batter will be thick.

7.Spread batter in two greased  8-inch layer cake pans,13x9x2-inch baking pan,1 bundt pan or cupcakes trays.

8. Bake at 350° for 25 to 35 minutes.

9. Mix 1/4 of the peanut butter with chocolate frosting. Frost cupcakes with mixture and sprinkle peanuts on top.
